Ground, facilities and staff

Every club has a ground, and it starts poor: at level 1 the pitch is dirt. Building it up makes the club stronger, and the ground on screen grows with it.

The six facilities

  • Pitch: home players play a little better.
  • Stands: more gate money from home matches.
  • Training ground: bigger gains from club training.
  • Medical room: energy comes back faster.
  • Club shop: income for the club and a discount for members.
  • Offices: room for more staff.

Building

Each facility has 5 levels. A build costs coins from the club treasury and takes real time, from 2 hours to 3 days. Only one build runs at a time, some levels need other facilities first, and each league caps how high a facility can go.

Staff

Clubs can hire coaches for attack, defence, fitness, passing and goalkeeping, a physio and a masseur. Coaches raise the gains from club training. Staff have a weekly wage and need a facility at the right level, and they leave after 2 unpaid weeks.

Club money

  • Income: gate money, sponsors, the club shop, a share of each league result and prize money at the end of the season.
  • Costs: wages, bots, staff, upkeep and builds, paid every Monday.
  • A club never goes into debt. When the upkeep is not paid, builds wait.

The owner and the captain decide what to build. Any member can give coins or Stars to help, but Stars given to the club never come back.
